US oil rig count falls one unit: Baker Hughes

The number of US oil rigs declined last week, following two consecutive weeks of increases.

 

The active US oil rigs dropped by one unit to 411 in the week ending Aug. 22, according to data released by Baker Hughes on Friday.

 

Meanwhile, the natural gas rig count held steady at 122 during the same period.
