Baker Hughes: US oil rig count rises for second straight week

The number of active oil drilling rigs in the US increased during the week ending September 5, according to data published by Baker Hughes on Friday.

 

The oil rig count rose by two units to 414, following a one-rig increase the previous week.

 

Meanwhile, the natural gas rig count fell by one unit to 118 during the same period.
