US rig count hits 6-month high: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count rose six units to 510 in the week ended March 15, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

This is the highest level since Sept. 15, 2023, when it reached 515.

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count rose one unit to 116 in the week.
