US oil rig count rises to 479: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count increased by one unit to 479 in the week ended Nov. 22, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

Meanwhile, the gas rig count decreased by two to 99 in the week.
