Saudi industrial production index declines 4.28% in November 2019

Saudi Arabia’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) fell 4.28% year-on-year (YoY) to 125.12 points in November 2019, with 2010 used as the base year, data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

The mining and quarrying activity index retreated 4% YoY. The manufacturing industry activity decreased 3% YoY.

 

In addition, the electricity supply activity dropped 21% YoY in November.
