SABIC WINS BEST CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AWARD THIRD YEAR IN ROW

For the third year in a row, the London-based Ethical Boardroom magazine has named SABIC as the winner of the Best Corporate Governance Award, recognizing it among those companies that have “raised the bar to ensure that strong corporate governance plays an essential part in protecting and enhancing long-term value for all stakeholders.”

 

The Corporate Governance Awards 2019 recognizes the outstanding leadership from boards and is a part of Ethical Board’s continuing mission to elevate corporate governance standards globally. SABIC won the award for the Middle East in the Conglomerate category.

 

Announcing the awards, Ethical Boardroom said, “Governance is one of the top priorities of board chairs and executive management and recognized as critical to a company’s sustainability, shareholder value and investment attractiveness. Good corporate governance, whether in a family business or large listed company, is crucial to unlocking value.”
