Mergers among solutions proposed to overcome COVID-19: Monshaat

Mergers of enterprises is among the solutions proposed to overcome the COVID-19 outbreak, Badr Al-Radhan, Director of Corporate Finance at Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat), said. 

 

The mergers may support the activity of two enterprises or ensure the integration of their services, while the merged enterprise can provide comprehensive services, however, failure may lead to heavy losses, Al-Radhan added as reported by Alriyadh newspaper. 

 

Al-Radhan also emphasized that the merger process requires thorough studies by advisors, indicating that Monshaat does not provide finance, but rather helps enable enterprises to obtain financing through stimulating their partnerships with financing agencies.
