Competition authority approves SAMI acquisition of AEC

 Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition (GAC) approved today, Feb. 9, the merger of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) and Advanced Electronics Co. (AEC). 

 

SAMI will acquire 100% of AEC, which operates in the contracting and manufacturing sector.  

 

In December 2019, SAMI, which is 100%-owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), completed the full acquisition of AEC.
