Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met, on Nov. 18, with Thailands' Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prayuth Chan-ocha at the Thai government's headquarters in Bangkok, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Both parties held an official session of talks, during which they discussed aspects of bilateral relations, and ways to develop and enhance them, in addition to exchanging cordial conversations on a number of issues of common interest.
They witnessed the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) between the two governments.
Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Supata Pong Ban Misha signed a MoU in the field of energy.
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai signed a MoU to form the Saudi-Thai Coordination Council.
Meanwhile, Saudi Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media Majid AlKassabi and Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn signed a MoU for cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries.
Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih and Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai signed a MoU to encourage direct investment between the two governments.
A MoU was signed between Saudi Arabia's Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) and Thailand's National Anti-Corruption Authority to prevent and combat corruption.
