Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh signed four agreements worth SAR 6.3 billion in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture and infrastructure, Saudi Press Agency reported.

This came during the participation of Majid Al Qasabi, Saudi Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the General Authority of Foreign Trade, in Bangladesh Business Summit 2023.

Bangladesh is a key trading partner of the Kingdom, Al Qasabi said, adding that his visit to the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka aims to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

He called on Saudi businessmen to build a strong relationship with their counterparts, and to explore investment opportunities in Bangladesh.

On the sidelines of the event, the Saudi-Bangladeshi Business Forum was held, with the participation of 20 Saudi companies and 60 Bangladeshi firms, to discuss cooperation and stimulate private sector investments between the two countries.
