Qassim Municipality signs SAR 19.6 mln contract for Buraydah, Unayzah public transport project

Mohamed Al-Majli, Mayor of Qassim Municipality signed a contract for the implementation of infrastructure project for public transport by buses in Buraydah city and Unayzah Governorate, at a total value of SAR 19.57 million, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The project includes 210 stopping points and will contribute to serving the beneficiaries of the region's residents and visitors and improving their experience, the report said.

Furthermore, the project will provide multiple transportation options for nationals and expatriates, contribute to raising the level of safety and quality of life, facilitate the movement within cities and reduce traffic congestion on roads, it added.
