Govt procurement utilizes 40.1% of local content: LCGPA

The local content in the Saudi government procurement hit 40.14%, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing CEO of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA), Abdulrahman Al Samari.

 

Meanwhile, the percentage of correct inclusion of local content requirements in government competitions reached more than 83%.

 

This came during the second meeting of local content development teams in government agencies, which was held by LCGPA.

 

Local content development teams are responsible for the development of local content according to the royal decree No. 13239, issued on July 10, 2021.
