The Cabinet, chaired by King Salman, approved today, Nov. 21, the establishment of a center to oversee services in cities, under the budget of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Cabinet also discussed the most prominent developments of the national economy, as well as the relevant statistics and indicators, which reflected the decline of inflation for the fifth straight month. This reflects the strength of the national economy and effectiveness of measures taken to confront global inflation hikes.

In addition, the Cabinet discussed the new natural gas discoveries by Saudi Aramco in the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter, which will contribute to boosting the reserve of wealth and resources. This will also support the Kingdom’s leading position in the global energy sector.
