34.8% of maintenance, operations jobs Saudized: HRSD Ministry

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) revealed that 34.79% of the target jobs in the maintenance and operation sector were localized since the launch of the Saudization initiative and until 2023. 

 

About 160,840 people have been employed so far, HRSD ministry said on X platform. 

 

In October 2019, Minister of Labor and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a ministerial decree to increase Saudization rates in all target jobs generated from the operation and maintenance contracts awarded by government agencies and companies wherein the state holds a stake of no less than 51%, data compiled by Argaam showed.
