HRSD Ministry launches initiative for entities contracting with security guard firms

Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) launched, through its e-platform Ajeer, an incentive initiative for establishments contracting with security guard firms. The initiative comes within the Ministry’s efforts to improve the work environment for Saudis in private sector facilities. 

In a statement, HRSD Ministry highlighted that the initiative stipulates for calculating the localization factor for Saudi security guards working for the benefit of establishments contracting with security guard companies.  The establishments can benefit from the initiative through fulfilling several controls and conditions that include a minimum wage starting from SAR 4,500. 

The step comes within a series of initiatives launched by HRSD Ministry to raise the efficiency of the Saudi labor market and increase its attractiveness, including the wage protection law, contractual relationship improvement initiative, Wedi program, and other initiatives aimed at improving the work environment in the Kingdom.
