The official gazette Umm Al-Qura published on Jan. 26 the details of Cabinet's decision on Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha holidays, to be a minimum of four business days and a maximum of five business days.

Under the decision, the government agencies that implement the labor plan and have independent and approved administrative regulations should amend their administrative regulations, so Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha official holidays will be a minimum of four business days and a maximum of five business days.

As for the agencies whose employees are subject to the labor law, they should apply the decision to all employees.

Meanwhile, the agencies whose employees are subject to more than one law should only apply the decision to the employees who are subject to the labor law.
