The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) may hold its next production policy meeting online on June 1 instead of meeting in Vienna, as is currently scheduled, Reuters reported citing sources familiar with the matter.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak earlier said that OPEC+ agreed to act on oil production if necessary.

The alliance, which includes Russia, is expected to keep production policy unchanged at the next meeting.
