SERA seeks public input on prepayment controls document for service consumption fees

Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority (SERA) published, through the Istitlaa platform, a document on prepayment controls for electrical service consumption fees, calling on interested to express their opinions no later than Sept. 9, 2024.

The prepayment controls document for electrical service consumption aims to increase the satisfaction of consumers and electrical service seekers in Saudi Arabia.

The document addressed the controls for prepayment for electrical service consumption and covered all stages of providing service from the service request, consumption calculation, balance charging procedures, and service disconnection and restoration procedures.
