Modern Mills signs supply deal for new feed plant production lines

Modern Mills Co. signed a supply agreement on March 17 for production lines at its new animal feed factory in Al Jumum Governorate, Makkah region.

 

The agreement was signed with a leading global and local company specializing in the manufacturing and construction of feed mills, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.

Modern Mills added that any significant developments related to the agreement would be announced in due course.

 

According to data available with Argaam, Modern Mills’ board of directors approved the establishment of an animal feed factory in the Western Region at the company's site in Al Jumum during its meeting on Dec. 9, 2024. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 422,000 metric tons.

 

At the time, the company estimated the project cost at approximately SAR 150 million, expecting commercial production to commence in Q4 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
