Saudi Arabia’s strategic partnership with the US in artificial intelligence (AI) is vital, said Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Alswaha.

 

Speaking at the Saudi-US Investment Forum, Alswaha said the cooperation is driven by a shared understanding and a strong commitment to partner with others to ensure success and expand innovation in a multi-trillion-dollar industry.

 

He added that American technology has supported Saudi Arabia’s digital advancement, allowing government documents like passports and driver’s licenses to be issued within minutes, and enabling electronic fee payments.
