The amendment of 58 Saudi standard specifications were approved, along with the adoption of two new ones, pursuant to paragraph 4 of Article 9 of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization's (SASO) regulations, Umm Al-Qura newspaper reported on May 23.

 

The updated version included 22 specifications in the services specifications sector, 14 others in the chemical and petroleum specifications sector, and another four in the mechanical and metal specifications sector.

 

This is in addition to three specifications in the sector of standards of weights and measures, and two more in the electrical and electronic specifications sector.
