Israel carried out a new wave of attacks on Iranian military sites, following airstrikes early this morning on nuclear facilities across various locations, including the capital Tehran.
In a statement issued on Friday via "X” Platform, the Israeli Air Force confirmed that it continued to target missile launch bases and missile infrastructure in Iran.
According to the Fars News Agency, two explosions were heard at the Fordow nuclear facility, and Iranian air defenses reportedly targeted an enemy drone. Meanwhile, Press TV reported that Iranian air defenses intercepted Israeli missiles south of Tehran.
The BBC confirmed the authenticity of a circulating video showing the aftermath of a new airstrike near Tehran at 6:32 PM local time, with smoke columns rising from the area.
In a separate development, US President Donald Trump commented today in an interview with Axios, stating that the attacks on Iran could assist his efforts to reach a nuclear agreement with Tehran. He further noted that Israel had used advanced US weapons in its attacks on Iran.
