Non-institutional foreign ownership ex-Aramco rises to 10.06% last week

Non-institutional foreign investors raised their ownership in Tadawul-listed equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, to 10.06%, or SAR 305.5 billion, in the week ending June 19, up from 10.02% a week earlier, market data showed.

 

The ownership of non-institutional foreign investors is represented by swap holders, residents, and qualified foreign investors (QFIs).

 

 

 

Ownership by GCC investors in Saudi equities, excluding Aramco, edged down to 2.17%, or SAR 65.9 billion, from 2.18% in the previous week.

 

 

 

Overall foreign ownership, including strategic partners and excluding Aramco, increased to 11.55%, or SAR 350.57 billion, from 11.52% the week before.

 

 

Institutional foreign investors held 1.49%, or SAR 45.1 billion, of total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the week ending June 19, according to Argaam data.
