US crude production rose to a record 13.47 million barrels per day (bpd) in April, from 13.45 million bpd in March, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported today, June 30.
The EIA had revised down slightly its March output from a previous estimate of 13.49 million bpd.
Gasoline demand gained 145,000 to 8.91 million bpd, marking the highest since October.
Distillate demand, including diesel and heating oil, dipped to 3.88 million bpd in April, versus 3.89 million bpd in March.
