In a statement today, July 14, the company said the new contract, known as Package 3 Finishing and MEP, involves the construction of more than 70 buildings and public spaces. It also covers fit-out, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
The project will span around 365,000 square meters in total area, the statement added.
The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) began phase one of the SAR 75 billion restoration and development of historic Diriyah in June 2020. Its seven-km² masterplan features a wide range of tourism, entertainment, and cultural destinations.
Diriyah Co. CEO Jerry Inzerillo told Argaam earlier this year that all projects are proceeding on schedule and within budget. He confirmed that the historic area, including Wadi Hanifa and Wadi Safar, will be ready to host visitors for Expo 2030.
