Saudi-Syrian investment forum being organized in Damascus to foster cooperation

The Ministry of Investment announced organizing the Saudi-Syrian Investment Forum 2025 in Damascus, with a wide participation from the public and private sectors.
 
The event comes as part of the ministry's efforts to activate and empower the role of the Saudi private sector, including identifying companies willing to invest in Syria and organizing several workshops, according to a press statement.
 
To complement these efforts, and in coordination with the Saudi Federation of Chambers, the ministry is arranging a business visit to Syria with the participation of a delegation of public and private sector companies.
 
The ministry added that it will work in cooperation with the concerned authorities in the Kingdom and the Syrian government to facilitate the steps to explore investment opportunities and overcome obstacles to achieve the common interest of the two countries and investors.
The forum aims to explore opportunities for cooperation and sign agreements that promote sustainable development and serve the interests of the two peoples, according to the statement.
 
The ministry also highlighted that the organization of the forum comes in a step that reflects the leadership's keenness to strengthen economic relations with Syria.
