Trump: US close to trade deal with China

US President Donald Trump said on July 27 that his administration is close to ink a trade agreement with China, but he did not provide further details.

 

“We are very close to reaching a deal with China. We've kind of reached an agreement with them, but we'll see how it goes,” Trump told reporters at the start of a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland.
