The Small and Medium Enterprises Loan Guarantee Program (Kafalah) issued more than 3,534 financing guarantees for small and medium-sized enterprises, at a value exceeding SAR 9 billion in H1 2025, marking growth of 10%.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the value of credits amounted to more than SAR 6.6 billion, from which 3,004 SMEs benefited.

Riyadh came on top by number of beneficiaries, followed by the Eastern Province, then Makkah, signaling the growing economic impact of the program across various regions of the Kingdom.

According to Argaam data, Homam Hashem, CEO of the Kafalah Program, said last April that the program aims to boost the value of its financing guarantees to reach between SAR 20 billion and SAR 22 billion for the current year and the next.
