SAR: 2.6M tons of minerals, goods transported in July

Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) transported more than 2.62 million tons of minerals and goods through freight trains during July.

In addition, over 1.10 million passengers were carried via the Haramain High-Speed Railway as well as the North and East train networks, SAR said in a statement.

It also pointed to contributing more than 11,000 hours of training, besides diverting over 124,000 truck trips from the Kingdom’s roads.

Moreover, during the same month, more than 11 million liters were recorded in fuel savings, along with a reduction exceeding 29,000 tons of carbon emissions.
