Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Thursday the upcoming OPEC+ meeting has no fixed agenda, adding that participants always review the current situation and market outlook before making decisions.
Novak told reporters the group’s mechanism is based on discussing energy market developments and economic forecasts before taking immediate decisions in line with new circumstances.
His comments came as Reuters reported, citing sources familiar with the matter, that eight members of the oil alliance are considering raising October output at Sunday’s meeting.
