US natural gas inventories rose by 55 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week ended Aug. 29, in line with projections of Wall Street Journal analysts.
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported today, Sept. 4, that inventories were 2.2% less than the same period last year, but remained 5.6% above the five-year average of 3.09 trillion cubic feet.
