Trump to sign TikTok deal on Thursday: Report

US President Donald Trump is expected to sign the deal related to the TikTok today, Sept. 25, Reuters reported, citing a source from the White House.

 

The White House announced earlier this week that Trump would confirm the deal's compliance with the requirements set forth in a law passed in 2024.

 

The anticipated agreement entails separating TikTok's operations in the US from its Chinese parent company, ByteDance.

 

Under the deal, US tech major Oracle and private equity company Silver Lake will take part in the transaction.
