Trump cuts tariffs on China to 10% after talks with Xi

US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he has agreed to cut tariffs imposed on China over its handling of the fentanyl crisis to 10%, following talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea.

 

Trump said the dispute between the United States and China “has been settled.”
