The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) contributed to the employment of 65,000 citizens in the communications and information technology (CIT) sector during the period from 2020 through H1 2025.
The fund signed eight specialized training-to-employment agreements during the same period, exceeding SAR 273 million in value, state-run news agency SPA reported.
This contributed to boosting the employment sustainability rate of fund-supported sector beneficiaries to 81%, compared to 49% in 2020.
These results reflected Hadaf’s strategic role in empowering the CIT sector within the labor market, supporting its transition toward high-value, promising digital sectors, while also building sustainable national human capital. This should in turn support economic growth and align with the requirements of future jobs in the digital economy, particularly in big data, cybersecurity, network management, and digital literacy.
