Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a decision to amend the table of violations and penalties for the Labor Law and its executive regulations, effective immediately.

 

The decision comes as part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to develop the work environment and enhance its stability and growth.

 

It aims to support labor market stability, protect workers' rights, and increase the attractiveness and flexibility of the work environment, thereby contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of establishments, the ministry said in a statement.

 

The new changes are in line with the amendments to the Labor Law and the subsequent amendments to its executive regulations.

 

The amendments included reclassifying a number of violations into specific categories according to the nature of the activities, thereby achieving greater clarity for establishments and workers.
