Mazen Badawood, CEO at Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. (JADCO), expects continued growth in demand for the company’s products in Q1 2026, backed by expanding market share and improved performance across its agricultural and industrial segments.

He told Argaam that the strong momentum is likely to continue in the coming period, backed by the seasonal impact of Ramadan and summer, with a focus on improving margins.

The company is continuing to strengthen its market share, while maintaining its leadership in the olive oil market and achieving rapid growth in the French fries segment, he added.

According to the top executive, Q4 2025 revenue rose by 28.7% year-on-year, driven by higher market share in the industrial segment, particularly in olive oil and French fries products. This is in addition to the seasonal impact of Ramadan, which began toward the end of Q4 2025, unlike the previous year, as well as the annual growth in agricultural sector sales.

Moreover, net income rose slightly by 1.1% during the three-month period, fueled by revenue growth despite pressure from higher costs.

The company’s financing costs increased in 2025 YoY due to project expansion, said the CEO, noting that Al-Jouf Agricultural is increasingly relying on government funds to reduce borrowing costs and improve its financing structure.

Both olive oil and French fries segments continued to achieve revenue growth and healthy margins despite competition from imported products. Meanwhile, the agricultural segment recorded annual growth. The company is continuing to implement its strategy to transform into a fully integrated agricultural and industrial model, which is expected to positively impact results and margins in the coming years, said Badawood.
