White House confirms possible 2nd round of negotiations with Iran: report

A second round of negotiations between the United States and Iran is currently under consideration, although no official date has been set yet, CNBC reported today, April 14, citing a White House official.

The remarks confirm earlier reports suggesting a possible resumption of peace talks, which were halted days ago without reaching any agreement.

Reports indicate that officials from both countries may return to Pakistan to resume dialogue.

An Iranian embassy official in Islamabad said the next rounds could be held later this week or early next week.
