Saudi Arabia awarded 11 construction projects worth about SAR 15.7 billion in March 2026, according to a monthly report by the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA).
The building and construction sector accounted for the largest share at around SAR 15.5 billion, representing 99% of total project value, while the water and energy sector accounted for the remainder at SAR 150 million.
Projects were distributed across nine sub-sectors, with educational facilities recording the highest value at over SAR 3.97 billion, followed by the commercial sector at SAR 3.75 billion.

The National Housing Co. (NHC), Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), and Al Muhaidib Group topped the list of project owners by value at SAR 12.53 billion, followed by Diriyah Gate Development Authority and Diriyah Co. with SAR 2.50 billion.

The report indicated that 18 projects are expected to be awarded in April 2026, with more than 50% concentrated in the construction sector and around half located in Madinah and the Eastern Province.
Entities expected to launch projects next month include the Ministry of Transport, the General Authority for Roads, Rua Al Madinah Holding, Saudi Water Partnership Co., Saudi Aramco, and the Public Investment Fund.
