Derayah REIT wins final ruling against former tenant

Derayah Financial Co., manager of Derayah REIT Fund, said it was notified by its legal counsel of a final ruling dismissing a lawsuit filed by the former Smart Tower tenant, Al Thamra Al Hadetha Co., for lack of legal standing.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, it said the Riyadh General Court ruling became final after the statutory appeal period expired.

 

The fund confirmed there is no financial impact from the ruling.

 

According to Argaam data, Derayah Financial had initiated legal proceedings in September 2025 to collect overdue rent of SAR 40 million before later obtaining a final court ruling to terminate the lease agreement.
