US natural gas inventories rose more than expected in the week ending April 10, according to data released Thursday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The data shows that inventories grew 6.8% year-on-year (YoY) and 5.8% higher than the five-year average of 1,862 billion cubic feet.
