Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser said he expects the joint studies for the project of the Saudi Arabia-Turkey railway, passing through Jordan and Syria, to be completed before the end of this year.

This connection is expected to enhance regional integration, support trade, and develop a sustainable land transport system between the countries of the region, he told Al-Arabiya TV.

The minister also noted that Saudi Arabia’s national railway network currently reaches the Jordanian border via the Al-Haditha crossing, forming a strategic base for future expansion toward regional and international connectivity.
