Sipchem's trial operation of ethylene vinyl acetate & polyethylene plant to start in 2nd quarter

Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) to start trial operation in the 2nd quarter of 2014 of its ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant run by its affiliate, International Polymers Co. (IPC)

 

The company will disclose the expected financial impact and the exact date of the operation in the future.

 

Sipchem on Sept 2013 started initial operation of some of the plant’s production lines and facilities, according to Argaam information.

 

International Polymers Co, is 75 percent owned by Sipchem and 25 percent by Korea’s Hanwha Chemical.
