Saudi Aramco is still evaluating contracts with nine companies to build 11 new sports stadiums across the kingdom worth about $4.40 billion (SAR 16.5 billion), according to a report published by Meed magazine.
Each stadium is said to cost about $400 million, about SAR 1.5 billion. The company was set to make a decision on Nov. 20, but postponed until further notice.
Aramco also received tenders for consultancy and project management from Lebanon-based Dar Engineering, Faithful Gold in the United Kingdom, United States-based Hill International, as well as Jacobs, SNC Lavalin in Canada, and Worley Parsons in Australia.
