SIIG launches PCC’s nylon 6.6 plants

29/03/2015 Argaam

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) said in a bourse filing today that it has completed construction works at its nylon 6.6 and conversion plants, adding that operations will kick-start in both facilities.

SIIG had commissioned its plants located in Jubail Industrial City last September after its JV, Petrochemical Conversion Company Limited (PCC), signed a SAR 700 million contract with Nesma and Partners Contracting Company, Ltd. for the construction of PCCs Nylon 6.6 and conversion plants.

Accordingly, the plants should ensure that work and safety requirements are applied, and should seek obtaining the necessary quality assurance certificates.

The financial impact could not be determined at this stage, as it will be recorded in first quarter results, the company added.
