Southern Cement says Bisha plant expansion ready by Feb

Southern Province Cement Co. (SPCC), the kingdom’s second-largest cement producer, said it expects to complete the installation of a second production line at its plant in Bisha by February, 2016.

 

The line was not completed, as previously announced in November 2013, due to soil defects and a project redesign, the cement producer said Sunday in a statement on the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

 

However, SPPC said it sees no financial impact from this delay.
