Authorities in Saudi Arabia have launched an investigation into a bomb blast that shook Al Kharj on Saturday, killing one expatriate and damaging three police vehicles.
An explosive device was planted near the city’s al-Dalam police station, which is located south of Riyadh, an unnamed security spokesman for the ministry of interior was quoted as saying by state news agency SPA.
No further details were provided.
A Daesh affiliate in Najd Province claimed responsibility for the attacks, and said it had set off two devices near the facility.
