QFIs up stakes in Al Hokair; ownership rises in 64 Saudi-listed firms

Foreign ownership increased across 64 Tadawul-listed firms on Monday, while 44 otther stocks saw declines, market data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

The data covered qualified foreign institutional investors (QFIs) and their approved clients, as well as swap agreements.

 

QFIs boosted stakes in Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development Co. (Al Hokair) by 0.15 percent to 0.53 percent. They also increased their position in Al Khaleej Training and Education, Budget Saudi and Saudi Ground Services by 0.18 percent, 0.08 percent and 0.01 percent, respectively.

 

Meanwhile, QFIs unloaded their entire 0.02 percent stake in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (Atheeb Telecom).

 

As for total foreign ownership, Wafa Insurance saw the biggest increase in foreign ownership at 0.34 percent to 12.84 percent. National Medical Care Co. (Care) came second with a rise of 0.22 percent to 2.01 percent.

 

Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. witnessed the steepest decline in foreign ownership at 0.22 percent to 5.56 percent. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co. followed with a 0.21 percent drop to 1.31 percent.
