Saudi funds’ assets under management fell 7% in 2015

The total value of assets under management (AUM) by funds in Saudi Arabia fell 7.1 percent YoY to around SAR 102.9 billion in 2015, from SAR 110.7 billion in 2014, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) showed.

 

Meanwhile, the number of funds managed by Saudi Arabia’s investment firms rose 7.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) in 2015 to 270 funds.

 

NCB Capital topped peer firms in terms of asset value, amounting to SAR 30.6 billion. It was followed by Riyad Capital, with a total value of assets reaching SAR 16.4 billion.
