Saudi Arabia has appointed Adeeb Al Aama as the new governor at the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), replacing Mohammed Al Madi, an OPEC spokesperson confirmed to Argaam.
The appointment was recently made and OPEC’s website was updated to include Al Aama as the Saudi governor at the organization.
Al Aama was earlier the deputy managing director at Saudi Arabian Oil Co.’s (Aramco) London office, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Meanwhile, Nasser Al Dossary is still occupying the position of the Saudi national representative at the OPEC, according to the organization’s official website.
