Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) said 30 new planes will be added to its service this year, state-run news agency, SPA, reported citing Saleh Al Jasser, the director general.
These include seven Boeing B787 Dreamliners, five B777-300ER planes, ten A330-300 aircraft and eight A320neo aircraft.
The first Airbus A330-300 aircraft is scheduled to arrive at King Abdulaziz International Airport by next week as part of an agreement to purchase 50 Airbus planes, Al-Jasser said.
Meanwhile, 18 planes will be grounded this year under Saudia’s ongoing program to modernize and develop its fleet, he said.
